I just started a PVP guild not too long ago, when your recruiting for a guild people want to know more about your guild, they ask how many members you have , or what the activity is like, or they inquire about the fundamental direction of the guild (PVP/PVE/Leveling.) Even they might ask about what level your guild is a new feature added in cataclysm that allows guilds to advance in level and gain perks along the way.
The big issue here is that it amazes me that when i might tell someone "we're a level three guild, we've just got underway, but we're growing fast," they take that to mean " we're amateurs we're inexperienced, and you stand to gain nothing by joining our guild." Where in actual fact on my server Kil' Jaeden In comparison to other seemingly PVP guild's the facts are:

Compared to other lvl 25 guilds on my realm it's eternally obvious that my guild is of a much better quality. However individuals sit inn guilds like ABAD* and VS* for perks claiming they are serious players, when in actual fact they do absolutely nothing everyday day. Its things like this, guild levels that make it hard for people to distinguish the difference between a good guild and a bad one.
This is why i propose that guild perks be nerfed around 75%. This way once again players can see clearly and make appropriate decisions when it comes to choosing a guild. Guild perks and guild level does not determine the quality of a guild. It only causes genuine new revolutionary guilds to suffer from ignorance.
