Don't post or comment here why? because the less comments this thread reseives the quicker it will die and go away. As is the case with most threads in general discussion, in that they die very quickly if not posted in regularly.

Now for the ppl who like this idea post away and plz give your reasons why you like prot to be viable and ideas on how this could be done
Plz be constructive.

Here are some of mine

Reasons: I love the play style, the rotation is smooth and doesn't need my absolute focus so I can focus more on the fight at hand. The ability to out last and out play my opponet in along hard earned battle ( not over in a few GCD of burst or a few CC later) but in general just being one tough son of a.....to kill.

Ideas on how it could be done:

Well first off I'd like to see prot take up the defensive support role so the suggestion given will mainly focus on that.

One of the ideas I had was to give prot its own version of Selfless Healer like ret

Increases your Word of Glory by 10% when used to heal yourself and reduces the cooldown of Word of Glory by 10 sec. In addition, when you heal others with your Word of Glory, causes the target to be healed by an additional 30% over 6seconds, any overhealing will create a protective shield equal to the amount of overhealing that lasts for 6 sec. While Righteous Fury is active the cooldown reduction Word of Glory and additional healing on others is negated, when Righteous Fury is removed now causes the paladin to lose 50% of all threat agained.

The last part is so that pve tanks can't use it.

Instant cast
 
Requires Shields
Your shield glows with a blinding light causing 500 Holy damage to all targets within 8 yards and blinding them for 3 seconds.

Come on who doesn't want to see a return of this ability.
Now should it be a talent or a passive?
