I simply can not fathom what adding Pokemon into an MMOG adds towards game. An MMOG is about a amount of things including: Socialization , Leveling, Questing, Crafting, Dungeons, Raids, and PVP combat. All of those are in the game to help create a system to enhance your character more than time and your characters gear so setup a by no means ending cycle of possible improvement to ensure that you keep playing and paying your monthly fee. All of they are also in place to prepared your character for the next wave of even harder, increased level content.
Sure, having something else to do in the game, could help them keep players around and subscribing, but shouldn't it relate towards core game in some way? If not, why not at lowest include something that is insanely popular now, and not something that was popular many years ago.
Wouldn't a far better instance of the game to include for players to play in-game be Poker, or any other gambling game, or even a whole casino? Blizzard could include it right into the pubs in each town, after all it would be far simpler for me to envision our big touch Azeroth saving heroes and heroines heading back to a bar to toss back a few ale after a hard day of Dragonslaying and gambling aside their loot. I mean that is what adventurers and mercenaries did right? Blizzard could even tie in actual world gambling and make more money!
After reading the introduction to the pet battle system, do you have familiarity feeling? I have such feeling. And I feel so disappointed. I am not only spending my money on playing the game, but also I have to buy WOW GOLD outside to support the game. All players really want to have some new and exciting things appeared in the game but not the copy.
