If the piercing succeeds, you will see a "0/1" at the end of the name on the item you socketed. You only have a maximum of 4 sockets.
To Place a card on the socketed item, simply double click it and the cursor will change into a hammer. Click to where you want it to be placed.
A message will appear whether the socket placement is successful. Remember that you cannot place the same type of card in the armor and the Max effect is only 7%.
